Dr. Prisk's office is located in Monroeville, PA., roughly 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. The office itself sits right off Mosside Blvd., just past Gateway High School. Free parking is available to our guests.

In addition to its accessible location, our office features state of the art, cutting edge technology to help you recover from your pain points in a better and faster manner. Our sitting rooms are designed to support non-surgical and surgical patients alike, ensuring that space is available for every patient - no matter what their treatment plan may be. And our X-ray system is digital cesium technology for the highest quality imaging with the lowest radiation possible.

*Note that while initial and follow-up care can be provided in Monroeville, surgical procedures themselves are conducted in Allegheny Health Network and UPMC operating rooms.

Imaging Services We Offer

modern weight-bearing scan machine

pedCAT

pedCAT is a modern weight-bearing scan designed to make care better than ever. Rather than the "traditional" scan taken while a person is on their back or sitting, pedCAT works while a person is standing upright. This allows physicians to see foot and ankle issues in a more “natural” posture, and to assess the alignment and overall health of the lower extremities. This allows for a more accurate diagnosis and better care.

Physio-therapist doing Extra-corporeal pulsed-activated therapy

EPAT

Extra-corporeal pulsed-activated therapy (i.e. "EPAT" sound wave) is considered a safe, viable, and effective treatment option  for any tendinopathy including Achilles, Tennis and Golfer’s Elbow, plantar fasciitis, jumper’s knee/patellar tendinitis, rotator cuff, hamstrings, and bicep/tricep. Furthermore it can be used for chronic pain of trigger points and scars. Achilles tendinopathy is a common overuse injury that, in the worst case, can cause a rupture of the Achilles tendon. Using EPAT treatments can ultimately facilitate healing and accelerate a patient’s recovery.

The cost for 3 visit (up to 15000 pulse) treatment series is $375*

All treatments require an initial evaluation with history and physical exam by Dr. Prisk**

*Insurance does not cover this therapy.
**Call 412-525-7692 to schedule and check insurance coverage for the evaluation.

Doctor doing ultrasound

Ultrasound

Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Unlike x-rays, ultrasounds can assess the condition of organs and soft tissues. In cases where evaluating a patient's bones is not enough, ultrasounds can help doctors evaluate muscles, tendons, and more. As with other imaging technology, the information gathered from ultrasounds allows doctors to create better treatment programs.

An X-Ray

X-Ray

X-ray imaging creates pictures of the inside of your body. The most familiar use of x-rays is checking for broken bones, although they can also reveal signs of arthritis, osteoporosis, and other medical issues. X-rays help doctors see what is happening within the body, and allow doctors to treat these bodily issues accordingly.
